VP, Project Manager – DRIVE Global Banking – São Paulo, Brazil
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our DRIVE Global Banking team at BNP Paribas in São Paulo. This is a key leadership role where you will oversee critical projects driving the transformation and development of our global banking platform. About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will lead complex, high-priority initiatives within BNP Paribas’ DRIVE Global Banking division. Your responsibilities will include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing our global banking operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the execution of global banking projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver measurable results
- Coordinate with stakeholders across business lines, technology, and operations to drive project success
- Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and deliverable timelines
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define project scopes, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high standards of quality
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and outcomes
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project management methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in project management within global banking or financial services
- Strong expertise in leading large-scale, cross-functional projects with a focus on digital transformation and banking operations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams
- A deep understanding of banking products, services, and technology initiatives
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required; additional language skills are a plus
