Selby Jennings is partnering with a dynamic, growing merchant bank in New York City focused on the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. The firm is looking to hire an Investment Banking Analyst with at least 1.5 years of professional experience to provide innovative advisory and financing solutions for high-growth companies within the TMT space. The firm prides itself on its industry expertise, client-focused approach, and a proven track record of success.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis & Valuation: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and valuation of technology companies, contributing to deal execution and client advisory.
Financial Modeling & Presentations: Develop and maintain detailed financial models and create presentations for client engagements, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Deal Execution Support: Assist senior bankers in all aspects of deal execution, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing processes.
Market & Industry Research: Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and key insights for clients.
Marketing Materials & Pitch Books: Support the preparation of marketing materials, pitch books, and presentations for potential clients.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients and key industry players, contributing to business development and client retention.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on sell-side M&A transactions in the technology sector.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to handle complex financial data.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of conveying complex information clearly and persuasively.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, particularly in a hybrid work environment.
Based in the NYC area.

Compensation & Benefits:

The expected base salary for this role is up to $105,000 per year, with additional benefits depending on experience and qualifications.
