Role Summary

Morgan Stanley’s New York City office is seeking a Vice President to join the Technology Investment Banking team. The successful candidate will be involved in high-profile transactions, working with regional and international clients across a range of complex deals, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and capital markets executions.

As a Vice President, you will collaborate with senior professionals across various sectors to deliver top-tier advice and support to clients. You will play a crucial role in executing innovative strategies, leading deal teams, and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and Manage Deals: Oversee and manage the execution of complex transactions, including M&A, restructurings, equity/debt financing, and more.
Client Interaction: Build and nurture relationships with regional and international clients, offering strategic advice and customized solutions.
Collaborative Work: Partner with internal teams across product groups (e.g., M&A, Global Capital Markets, Real Estate) to deliver seamless, high-quality service.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior bankers, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in Investment Banking, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex deals.
Strong experience in the technology industry is highly preferred.
Exceptional analytical skills, corporate finance knowledge, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to think creatively, beyond just the numbers, to develop innovative solutions.
Bachelor’s degree is required; a CFA designation is a plus.
Series licensing required or must be obtained.

Compensation:

The expected base salary for this role ranges from $250,000 to $275,000 per year. The final base pay will be determined based on individual qualifications. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include commissions, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, and other short- and long-term benefits.
