BIS-Banking Support Operations Analyst

Role Overview:
The Banking and Investment Services (BIS) Support Operations Analyst is designed to develop technical skills, business acumen, and financial services experience for individuals interested in entering the financial services industry. This role provides the opportunity to gain specific and practical experience, contributing and integrating within City National Bank. Responsibilities include supporting client contact centers, client statement production, mailroom and delivery services, vault and lockbox services, and other operational areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Support: Engage in activities targeting the commercial banking business segment to achieve specific acquisition goals assigned by management.
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations within the finance department, ensuring processes are performed in adherence to our risk and control framework.
Process Improvement: Regularly review and perform process gap analysis, recommending workflow and process improvements to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and technology teams, to drive process improvement and enhance the customer journey.
Compliance: Ensure financial compliance with regulatory reporting requirements, including those set by relevant authorities.
Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process, providing relevant financial information and addressing any identified issues.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in MS Office applications.
Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to synthesize technical content for senior management, and strong influencing, negotiation, and analytical abilities.
Abilities: Ability to work independently and in teams; make sound business decisions; exercise appropriate levels of authority commensurate with experience and responsibility.

Compensation:
The starting base salary for this position ranges from $16.66 to $25.02 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
