Senior Operations Officer

Role Overview:
The Senior Operations Officer will play a pivotal role in leading and managing complex operations within the organization, focusing on climate adaptation and resilience initiatives. This position involves strategic planning, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to implement programs that align with our mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for climate adaptation and resilience projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and international standards.
Project Management: Oversee the execution of projects, including planning, budgeting, and monitoring to ensure successful outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and international organizations, to advance project objectives.
Policy Development: Contribute to the formulation of policies and guidelines related to climate adaptation and resilience.
Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and external partners, detailing project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Climate Change, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on climate adaptation and resilience projects.
Skills: Strong leadership and project management abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of climate change adaptation strategies, international environmental policies, and sustainable development practices.
