Role Overview:
The Officer, KYC Quality Assurance Operations, is responsible for reviewing and approving KYC client profiles, performing documentation reviews, and conducting sanctions and AML name screening dispositions. This role involves carrying out due diligence checks, partnering with Business and AML Compliance stakeholders to support client onboarding, and providing guidance and subject matter expertise as required. The officer will also work in partnership with global and KYC teams to implement new policies and guidelines, ensuring effective governance of tasks and processes in line with internal policy and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve KYC client profiles, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform documentation reviews and sanctions & AML name screening dispositions.
Conduct due diligence checks and information searches per internal standards.
Partner with Business and AML Compliance stakeholders to support client onboarding and provide guidance and subject matter expertise.
Work with global and KYC teams to implement new policies and guidelines, developing consistent processes and best practices.
Ensure effective governance of tasks and processes with reference to internal policy and regulatory requirements.
Engage in ongoing transformation to strengthen overall client onboarding controls, including strategic program rollouts and system enhancements.

Qualifications:

5-10 years of relevant experience in KYC/AML processes, compliance, operations, or risk & control functions.
Proven ability to make effective and timely decisions.
Consistently able to anticipate and respond to customer/business needs.
Demonstrated ability to build and cultivate partnerships across business regions.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and confidently across all levels.
Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
