Core Banking Services Service Transition Lead

Role Overview:
The Service Transition Lead within the Core Banking Services (CBS) domain of Corporate Bank Technology is a technical specialist responsible for overseeing the smooth transition of new applications and major changes into production. This role involves active engagement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring that applications are built for stability and require minimal effort in day-to-day production support.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Development: Define, develop, maintain, and execute the CBS Book of Work process related to new application onboarding into production.
Non-Functional Requirements: Enhance and maintain non-functional requirements (NFR) with thorough due diligence for both on-premises and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) applications.
Project Facilitation: Participate in major program/project planning meetings to prioritize bug fixes, resiliency, and performance enhancements, articulating potential benefits in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria.
Risk Management: Provide updates, highlighting any risks and concerns on new or existing application onboarding to CBS Domain/Functional Leads and the Central Service Transition team.

Skills and Experience:

Technical Expertise: Experience in controlled production environments within large corporate settings, preferably in Financial Services Technology.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Global Transaction Banking or Corporate and Investment Banking is advantageous.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, shell scripting, secure connectivity and protocols, monitoring tools (e.g., Geneos, Nagios, NewRelic), scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, AutoSys), and ITIL Framework.
Change Management: Experience with change management and incident tracking tools (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow).
