Reporting Actuary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reporting Actuary to join our London office and contribute to our financial reporting and analysis functions.
Role Overview
As a Reporting Actuary, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely actuarial reporting, supporting the business in decision-making and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment and make a significant impact on the company’s performance and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver actuarial reports, including valuations, reserving, and solvency analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support the production of financial statements under IFRS, Solvency II, and other relevant frameworks.
- Conduct experience studies and analyze trends to inform assumptions and models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, risk, and product development, to provide actuarial insights and recommendations.
- Ensure robust governance and documentation of actuarial methodologies and processes.
- Stay updated on regulatory developments and industry trends, assessing their impact on the business.
- Mentor and support junior actuaries, fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified actuary (FIA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Strong technical expertise in actuarial reporting, valuation, and solvency calculations.
- Proficiency in actuarial modeling tools and software; experience with Prophet or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of IFRS, Solvency II, and other regulatory frameworks.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
