Associate – Private Capital Advisory (Leading Investment Bank)

We are a leading global investment bank with a specialized Private Capital Advisory team focused on delivering innovative solutions to clients across the private equity and alternative investment space. Our team provides strategic advice on liquidity solutions, secondary market transactions, and capital-raising initiatives. We are seeking a talented Associate to join our London-based Private Capital Advisory team and contribute to high-impact transactions and client engagements.

Role Overview
As an Associate in the Private Capital Advisory team, you will support the execution of secondary market transactions and capital advisory mandates. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, engaging with private equity firms, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the execution of private capital advisory mandates, including secondary transactions and fund restructurings.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support transaction structuring and decision-making.
Prepare high-quality marketing materials, pitch presentations, and client proposals.
Collaborate with senior team members to develop tailored solutions for clients’ liquidity and capital needs.
Perform market research and due diligence to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the private capital space.
Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity firms, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of transaction-related documentation and reports.

Requirements:

Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications such as CFA or MBA are advantageous.
3-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or financial advisory, preferably within the secondary markets or capital advisory space.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and market analysis.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and present complex ideas clearly.
A results-driven mindset with exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of private equity, alternative investments, and secondary market dynamics is highly desirable.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
