HR & Payroll Advisor
We are a leading organization in the financial services sector, dedicated to excellence in employee engagement and operational efficiency. Our HR and Payroll team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of payroll services and HR support across the business. We are seeking a detail-oriented HR & Payroll Advisor to join our Stirling office and contribute to our people-first culture.
Role Overview
As an HR & Payroll Advisor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive payroll processing and HR advisory services. This role requires a proactive professional with strong organizational skills, capable of managing payroll operations while supporting HR initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide HR advisory support to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address payroll and HR queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR and payroll systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support the implementation of HR initiatives, including employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development programs.
- Prepare payroll reports and analyses to inform decision-making and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll legislation and HR regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and HR advisory roles, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, UK payroll legislation, and HR policies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in HR and payroll software, with advanced Excel skills being a plus.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
