Analyst – Renewable Energy Investment Banking (M&A)

Role Overview
As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of M&A transactions within the renewable energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-growing and impactful industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of M&A transactions, including financial analysis, valuation, and deal structuring.
- Prepare detailed financial models, including DCF, precedent transactions, and comparable company analyses.
- Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the renewable energy sector.
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentation.
- Collaborate with senior team members and clients to develop strategic recommendations and actionable insights.
- Monitor developments in the renewable energy market to inform transaction strategies and client advice.
- Ensure high-quality work is delivered under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Strong academic background in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications such as CFA or MBA are advantageous.
- 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate finance, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Passion for renewable energy and sustainability, with knowledge of the sector's key dynamics and trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
