Analyst – Secondaries Advisory (Global Investment Bank)

We are seeking a motivated Analyst to join our London-based Secondaries Advisory team, contributing to the execution of high-profile transactions and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Role Overview
As an Analyst in the Secondaries Advisory team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, structuring, and executing secondary transactions. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment while gaining exposure to a wide range of private equity clients and deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the execution of secondary transactions, including fund restructurings, portfolio sales, and GP-led solutions.
Conduct detailed financial analysis, including portfolio modeling, valuations, and performance assessments.
Prepare high-quality marketing materials, transaction documentation, and client presentations.
Research and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic advice.
Collaborate with senior team members to develop innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Maintain accurate records of transaction data and client interactions.

Requirements:

Strong academic background with a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced qualifications such as CFA are advantageous.
1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related financial field.
Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and data analysis.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights clearly and concisely.
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of the private equity secondaries market is preferred.
