Engagement Manager – Internal Consulting (Vice President)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engagement Manager at the Vice President level to join our Internal Consulting team at BNP Paribas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic projects, drive organisational change, and deliver impactful solutions across various business units in a leading global financial institution.

About the Role:
As an Engagement Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of high-priority internal consulting projects, working closely with senior leadership to address strategic challenges and implement innovative solutions. Your expertise in project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement will be instrumental in driving organisational success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact consulting projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
Partner with senior stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and success metrics
Develop and execute detailed project plans, managing resources, budgets, and risks to ensure successful outcomes
Conduct in-depth analyses of business processes, market trends, and operational challenges to identify opportunities for improvement
Deliver actionable recommendations and facilitate the implementation of solutions to enhance efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights and strategic guidance on critical initiatives
Foster collaboration across departments, ensuring effective communication and alignment among stakeholders
Drive change management efforts, including training, communication, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure successful adoption of new processes and solutions
Monitor and report on project performance, providing regular updates to senior leadership and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Contribute to the development of best practices, methodologies, and tools to enhance the capabilities of the Internal Consulting team

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, PMP) preferred
8+ years of experience in management consulting, internal consulting, or strategic project management within financial services or a related industry
Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects and delivering measurable results
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise data and develop actionable insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organisation
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques, including Agile and Lean methodologies
Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets, banking operations, and regulatory frameworks
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results in a collaborative, team-oriented setting
