Investment Banking Vice President – Technology

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President to join our Investment Banking team with a focus on the Technology sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on transformative transactions, collaborate with innovative clients, and play a leadership role in driving strategic advisory and execution in the fast-evolving technology space.

About the Role:
As a Vice President in the Technology Investment Banking team, you will be responsible for leading transaction execution, managing client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts. You will leverage your expertise in the technology industry to provide insightful advice and deliver tailored financial solutions for clients. This position is ideal for a results-oriented professional with a passion for technology and a proven track record in investment banking.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of complex transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, equity and debt financing, and strategic advisory engagements
Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology clients, acting as a trusted advisor and understanding their unique needs
Oversee the preparation of detailed financial models, valuations, and transaction materials to support client objectives
Collaborate with senior bankers to drive origination efforts and identify new business opportunities in the technology sector
Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, transaction processes, and client engagement
Conduct in-depth industry research and competitive analysis to identify trends and inform strategic recommendations
Coordinate with internal teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure seamless execution of transactions
Represent the firm at industry events and conferences, building visibility and fostering client relationships
Provide insights into market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to clients and team members

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
7+ years of experience in investment banking, with significant exposure to the technology sector
Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with experience engaging with C-level executives
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Deep understanding of technology industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes
Client-focused mindset with a track record of building and maintaining long-term relationships
