We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join the FRESH (Finance Reshape) team at BNP Paribas. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on transformative initiatives that enhance financial processes and systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.

About the Role:
As a Business Analyst within the FRESH team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions to optimize financial processes and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and operations, to ensure that projects align with business objectives and deliver measurable improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial systems and processes
Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements
Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to implement solutions
Conduct gap analyses to compare current and desired processes, recommending actionable improvements
Participate in project planning, including scope definition, timeline management, and resource allocation
Develop and execute test plans to ensure that implemented solutions meet business requirements
Provide ongoing support and training to users, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation
Ensure that all processes and solutions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within financial services or banking
Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and tools
Proficiency in business analysis techniques, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process mapping
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, MS Project)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and financial technologies (FinTech) is a plus
