Global Banking & Markets – Associate Banker: Financing Group

We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Banker to join our Financing Group within Global Banking & Markets. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the execution of complex financing transactions, develop client relationships, and support strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
As an Associate Banker in the Financing Group, you will play a critical role in originating, structuring, and executing financing solutions for clients across a variety of industries. Working closely with senior bankers, you will help deliver tailored capital solutions, including debt and equity financing, while supporting the overall growth and development of the Financing Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the origination and execution of financing transactions, including debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and hybrid instruments
Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and credit analysis to evaluate transaction opportunities
Assist in preparing pitch books, client presentations, and transaction-related materials
Collaborate with internal teams, including risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless transaction execution
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to provide timely insights and recommendations to clients
Work with clients to understand their financing needs and develop customized solutions to meet their objectives
Assist in due diligence processes and coordinate with external stakeholders, including investors and advisors
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and proactive communication

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are a plus
2-4 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or corporate finance
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial software tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and reports
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and build lasting client relationships
Knowledge of debt and equity capital markets, financing structures, and market trends
Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management abilities
