Investment Bank - Origination & Advisory - Banker: Healthcare (Associate/Vice President)

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Associate/Vice President to join our Investment Banking Origination & Advisory team, focusing on the Healthcare sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with industry-leading clients, drive transaction execution, and provide strategic advisory services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
As part of our Investment Banking team, you will play a critical role in originating and executing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory for healthcare clients. You will work closely with senior bankers and clients to identify opportunities, develop financial models, and deliver customized solutions that drive value.

Key Responsibilities:

Originate and execute transactions across the Healthcare sector, including M&A, equity and debt capital markets, and strategic advisory engagements
Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare industry clients, understanding their unique needs and objectives
Prepare detailed financial models, valuations, and sensitivity analyses to support transaction decisions and client recommendations
Conduct in-depth industry research and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the healthcare sector
Create high-quality presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials for client meetings and transaction processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure seamless execution of transactions
Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on financial analysis, client presentations, and transaction execution
Monitor regulatory and market developments impacting the healthcare industry, ensuring clients receive timely and relevant advice
Contribute to the development of client strategies and provide insights that shape decision-making at the executive level

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
3-7 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on healthcare transactions
Strong knowledge of M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory within the healthcare sector
Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients and stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Deep understanding of market trends, regulatory frameworks, and key drivers within the healthcare industry
