Asset & Wealth Management – Private Credit Asset Finance Analyst
We are seeking a highly motivated Private Credit Asset Finance Analyst to join our Asset & Wealth Management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the structuring, execution, and management of private credit asset finance transactions. You will collaborate with senior team members to deliver tailored financial solutions to clients while gaining hands-on experience in the private credit and asset finance space.
About the Role:
As a Private Credit Asset Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the origination, underwriting, and portfolio management of private credit transactions. You will analyze asset-backed financing opportunities, prepare financial models, and assist in structuring deals. Your work will play a critical role in driving the success of the private credit team and delivering value to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed credit analysis and due diligence on asset finance transactions, including evaluating underlying assets and financial structures
- Build and maintain financial models to assess deal economics and stress-test scenarios
- Assist in the structuring and execution of private credit transactions, including preparing term sheets and transaction documentation
- Support portfolio management activities, including monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with covenants and reporting requirements
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and provide insights into asset-backed finance trends
- Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal approval and client discussions
- Collaborate with internal teams, including risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Maintain and update portfolio metrics, providing regular reporting and performance updates to senior management
- Assist in managing relationships with external counterparties, including borrowers, intermediaries, and service providers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, asset-backed finance, or investment banking
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools
- Familiarity with private credit, asset-backed securities, and structured finance products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly
- Highly detail-oriented, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in private credit and asset finance
