Fund Finance Associate – Private Debt/Real Estate Debt

We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Finance Associate to join our growing team, specializing in private debt and real estate debt. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will support the financial operations of fund structures and work alongside senior professionals to manage and optimize fund financing solutions.

About the Role:
As a Fund Finance Associate, you will play an essential role in overseeing fund accounting, finance, and reporting for private debt and real estate debt funds. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the management of fund structures, financial reporting, and investor relations, along with ensuring adherence to fund covenants and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for private debt and real estate debt funds
Support fund financing activities, including cash flow projections, investor distributions, and capital calls
Coordinate with external auditors and fund administrators to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Monitor and analyze fund performance and compliance with financial covenants, agreements, and regulatory requirements
Assist in the preparation of investor reporting, including quarterly and annual updates, performance metrics, and capital deployment
Support the development of fund-level models, including debt financing structures, liquidity analysis, and capital raising efforts
Collaborate with the investment team to understand portfolio performance and potential impacts on financial structuring
Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and due diligence for new fund formations and capital raising activities
Assist in managing investor relationships and provide support for investor inquiries and reporting requests
Participate in internal financial reviews and strategic decision-making processes related to fund operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
2+ years of experience in fund finance, private equity, debt markets, or real estate finance
Strong understanding of private debt and real estate debt structures and investment vehicles
Experience with financial modeling, fund accounting, and performance analysis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in fund management systems and accounting software
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of investment regulations and reporting requirements, particularly in private equity or real estate debt
CFA, CAIA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
