We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to join our Private Investment Banking team within the Consumer & Retail sector. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile transactions with a focus on providing innovative financial solutions to leading companies in the consumer goods and retail industry.

About the Role:
As a Private Investment Banking Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting senior bankers on key mandates, conducting financial analysis, and preparing presentations to clients and investors. You will have the chance to work on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic advisory projects, while gaining hands-on experience in the private equity and investment banking sectors.

You will play a key role in developing financial models, performing valuation analysis, and contributing to the execution of transactions. Your work will directly support senior bankers in delivering tailored financial solutions to our clients, helping them navigate market complexities and achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide financial analysis, including valuation modeling, financial projections, and sensitivity analysis
Assist in preparing pitch books, client presentations, and investment memoranda
Perform market and industry research to support deal execution and client advisory
Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with other teams to ensure smooth transaction execution
Contribute to the preparation of client reports, presentations, and other materials for meetings
Work closely with senior bankers to support client relationships and execution of key deals
Manage multiple aspects of transaction processes, working across teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
Participate in meetings with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders to discuss potential transactions and market trends

Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on the Consumer & Retail sector (or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel
Experience with valuation methodologies, including comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow (DCF)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and impactful presentations
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across different teams and functions
