We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Planning Director to join our growing team. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the financial planning process, develop customized strategies for high-net-worth clients, and lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional wealth management services.

About the Role:
As the Financial Planning Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of financial planners and providing strategic oversight on the creation and implementation of tailored financial plans. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique goals, offering comprehensive wealth management solutions that include investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimization.

This role requires an individual with strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering personalized, long-term financial strategies to affluent clients. You will collaborate with other internal experts, ensuring the seamless integration of various financial services to meet clients’ evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the financial planning team, ensuring high-quality, personalized financial strategies are provided to clients
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive financial plans, with a focus on retirement planning, tax strategies, and wealth transfer
Foster and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, delivering ongoing, proactive financial advice
Coordinate with specialists in investment management, tax, and estate planning to offer integrated wealth management solutions
Review client portfolios, monitor plan progress, and make recommendations for adjustments as needed
Present complex financial plans and strategies to clients, ensuring clarity and understanding
Stay informed about market trends, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure clients receive timely and relevant advice
Ensure that all financial planning processes comply with legal and regulatory standards
Mentor, train, and develop financial planning team members to enhance their professional growth
Contribute to business development efforts through networking, client referrals, and expanding service offerings

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a related field
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (CFP, CFA, or similar certifications required)
Extensive knowledge of financial planning strategies, including tax planning, retirement planning, and estate management
Proven experience managing a team and developing junior professionals
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt strategies based on changing circumstances
In-depth understanding of financial planning software and portfolio management tools
High ethical standards with a client-first mentality
