Vice President – Emerging Markets Sales Specialist (Foreign Exchange & Rates)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Emerging Markets Sales Specialist to join our Foreign Exchange (FX) and Rates team. As a Vice President, you will play a key role in driving sales and business development across the emerging markets sector, with a focus on FX and rates products. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in emerging markets and financial products to support the firm’s growth and strengthen client relationships.

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, fostering relationships, and executing strategies across the emerging markets FX and rates space. You will work closely with institutional clients, providing them with tailored solutions and helping them navigate market complexities. You will also collaborate with trading desks, risk management, and other teams to ensure smooth execution and growth in this critical area.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales and business development across emerging markets foreign exchange and rates products
Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions
Provide expertise and market insights to clients, helping them navigate FX and rates markets in emerging economies
Work closely with traders, risk managers, and product teams to structure and execute complex trades and transactions
Collaborate with internal teams to develop new product offerings and strategies tailored to the needs of emerging market clients
Support the development and execution of sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities and addressing client needs in the emerging markets space
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that may impact clients in the emerging markets and offer actionable insights
Assist in structuring solutions for complex transactions, ensuring that deals are executed efficiently and meet regulatory requirements
Work closely with senior management to drive strategic objectives and expand the firm’s footprint in emerging markets

What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales within foreign exchange, rates, or a related financial services area, with a focus on emerging markets
Strong knowledge of emerging market FX and rates products, as well as market dynamics and regulatory frameworks
Proven track record of sales success and the ability to build and manage strong relationships with institutional clients
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to clients in a clear and actionable way
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, including trading desks, risk management, and operations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen understanding of market trends and risk management strategies
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
A strategic mindset with a focus on long-term client relationships and business growth
