Investment Manager – Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Manager at the Director level to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of investments, providing strategic guidance, and delivering exceptional investment outcomes for our clients.

About the Role:
As an Investment Manager, you will lead investment strategy and decision-making for a range of client portfolios. You will collaborate with internal teams, develop market insights, and ensure the execution of well-informed investment strategies across asset classes. Your role will involve direct client interaction, providing personalized investment advice and solutions while managing risk and optimizing returns.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement investment strategies for client portfolios across a range of asset classes
Analyze market trends, economic data, and investment opportunities to inform portfolio decisions
Lead the portfolio construction process, ensuring alignment with clients’ risk profiles, financial goals, and investment preferences
Conduct thorough due diligence on investment opportunities, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and private equity
Regularly review portfolio performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal returns and risk management
Maintain strong relationships with clients, offering them ongoing investment advice and portfolio updates
Work closely with senior management and investment teams to identify market trends and strategic opportunities
Provide thought leadership and market insights to clients and colleagues
Monitor and comply with all regulatory and internal compliance requirements

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in investment management, with a strong track record of managing large portfolios and delivering superior client results
Expertise in portfolio construction, asset allocation, and risk management
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex market data
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex investment strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams or working in a collaborative team environment
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in investment management, with a focus on client-facing roles
