Relationship Banker – Lakewood, NJ (40 Hours)

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Relationship Banker to join our team in Lakewood. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients while providing personalized banking solutions to meet their financial needs.

About the Role:
As a Relationship Banker, you will engage with clients to understand their financial goals and offer tailored banking products and services, such as checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment options. You will also support clients in managing their accounts and provide expert advice on financial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalized banking solutions based on their financial needs
Open and manage various accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, while offering loan and credit products
Conduct thorough needs assessments to recommend the right banking products and services for clients
Assist clients with day-to-day banking transactions and help with more complex financial services, including loan and mortgage applications
Promote and cross-sell the bank’s products and services to ensure clients have the best financial solutions
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly
Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and provide clients with a seamless banking experience
Stay informed on the latest banking products, services, and market trends to ensure relevant solutions are offered

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in retail banking, customer service, or financial services, with a solid understanding of banking products
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
Demonstrated ability to identify client needs and provide appropriate solutions in a consultative manner
Problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering exceptional service
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus
Prior experience in sales or cross-selling financial products is preferred
