Investment Grade Credit Desk Analyst – Associate
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Investment Grade Credit Desk Analyst to join our team in New York as an Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-performing desk, conducting deep credit analysis, providing market insights, and contributing to strategic decision-making for investment-grade credit portfolios.
About the Role:
As an Investment Grade Credit Desk Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting the credit trading desk by analyzing investment-grade credit products, providing trade recommendations, and assisting in portfolio management. You will collaborate with senior traders, research teams, and risk managers to ensure effective strategy execution and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform credit analysis on investment-grade bonds, credit derivatives, and related fixed-income products
- Monitor market conditions, credit spreads, and macroeconomic trends to inform trading strategies and investment decisions
- Assist in the preparation of trade recommendations, portfolio adjustments, and credit strategies
- Collaborate with trading, research, and risk teams to ensure alignment of credit strategies with market conditions
- Support portfolio managers by tracking portfolio performance and recommending adjustments based on market developments
- Communicate market updates, credit insights, and recommendations to senior traders and clients
- Assist in managing risk exposure, ensuring compliance with internal risk limits and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development and structuring of credit-related products and solutions for clients
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in investment-grade credit analysis, with a solid understanding of credit markets and fixed income products
- Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and quantitative tools to evaluate credit risk and performance
- Ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights to support trading and portfolio management
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to senior teams and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
