Investment Grade Credit Desk Analyst – Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Grade Credit Desk Analyst to join our team as a Director in New York. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the front lines of credit markets, contributing to the analysis and management of investment-grade credit portfolios while collaborating with senior traders and risk managers.
About the Role:
As an Investment Grade Credit Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing in-depth credit analysis, market insights, and trade recommendations for investment-grade credit products. You will play a crucial role in managing risk and optimizing the desk’s credit strategies, ensuring alignment with market conditions and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed credit analysis on investment-grade bonds, credit derivatives, and other fixed-income products
- Monitor market trends, credit spreads, and macroeconomic developments to support trading strategies
- Provide actionable trade recommendations to senior traders based on your credit analysis and market insights
- Collaborate with internal teams, including trading, risk, and research, to develop and implement credit strategies
- Support portfolio management by tracking performance, managing risk, and advising on portfolio adjustments
- Contribute to client relationship management by providing market updates, analysis, and tailored investment strategies
- Participate in structuring new credit products and solutions to meet client and market needs
- Assist in risk management and compliance by monitoring exposure and ensuring alignment with internal risk limits
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience in investment-grade credit analysis, with a deep understanding of credit markets, fixed income, and credit derivatives
- Strong track record of providing actionable insights and trade recommendations to senior traders and investment teams
- Excellent financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with clients and internal partners
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
