Fixed Income Financing Specialist – Analyst / Vice President
We are seeking a talented and motivated Fixed Income Financing Specialist to join our team in New York. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing and executing fixed income financing transactions, including securities lending, repo, and margin financing. As an Analyst/Vice President, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our fixed income financing business.
About the Role:
As a Fixed Income Financing Specialist, you will be responsible for structuring, executing, and managing financing transactions across a range of fixed income products. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and counterparties to optimize financing solutions while managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage fixed income financing transactions, including repo, securities lending, and margin financing
- Monitor market trends, interest rates, and liquidity conditions to inform financing strategies
- Collaborate with trading, risk, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and settlement of transactions
- Support the development of new financing products and solutions to meet client needs
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and financial institutions
- Analyze and monitor risk exposure, ensuring that financing activities are aligned with risk guidelines and regulatory frameworks
- Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to clients, ensuring optimal financing solutions
- Contribute to the development and refinement of risk management processes and procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in fixed income financing, including repo, securities lending, or margin financing
- Experience in structuring and executing complex financing transactions across fixed income products
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and pricing models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and counterparties
- Proven ability to manage risk, execute transactions efficiently, and thrive in a high-pressure environment
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or other relevant certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
