Flow Credit Trader – Director
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Flow Credit Trader to join our dynamic trading team. As a Director, you will play a key role in managing the flow credit trading desk, executing trades, and contributing to the development of strategic trading initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced traders to further their careers in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
About the Role:
As a Flow Credit Trader, you will be responsible for executing trades and managing risk across a range of credit products, including corporate bonds, CDS, and other fixed-income instruments. You will work closely with senior traders and risk managers to identify market opportunities, optimize trading strategies, and manage client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute flow credit trades across various products, including corporate bonds, CDS, and structured products
- Monitor market trends, credit spreads, and macroeconomic conditions to inform trading strategies
- Manage risk and position sizes, ensuring compliance with internal risk guidelines and external regulations
- Build and maintain relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, hedge funds, and other market participants
- Collaborate with research teams and other stakeholders to generate trade ideas and insights
- Contribute to the development of trading strategies that maximize profitability while minimizing risk
- Provide market color and updates to clients, ensuring exceptional service and communication
- Help mentor and develop junior traders, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in flow credit trading, with a deep understanding of corporate credit, CDS, and fixed-income markets
- Strong track record of executing successful trades and managing risk in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in pricing models and risk management tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent certifications are a plus
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
