2025 Corporate Banking Summer Analyst – Madrid, Spain
We are seeking motivated and proactive individuals to join our Corporate Banking team as Summer Analysts in Madrid for the summer of 2025. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate banking, working with large corporate clients and gaining exposure to various financial products and services.
About the Role:
As a Summer Analyst, you will support senior bankers in executing corporate banking transactions, conducting financial analysis, and managing client relationships. You will develop a strong understanding of corporate finance, credit analysis, and lending solutions while contributing to high-impact projects for leading corporations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of client proposals, presentations, and transaction documentation
- Conduct financial analysis, including credit assessments, financial modeling, and cash flow analysis
- Support the execution of financing transactions, including loans, credit facilities, and trade finance
- Monitor and manage client portfolios, identifying potential risks and opportunities
- Participate in industry and market research to support strategic client solutions
- Collaborate with relationship managers and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong academic background, ideally in finance, economics, or a related field
- Prior internship experience in banking, finance, or related areas is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required; additional languages are a plus
